(MP3 and RealAudio available\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/trashotron.com\/agony\/news\/2005\/04-11-05.htm#ZielinskiStephan\">here<\/a>\u00a0.)<\/p>\n<p>On the odd chance anyone out is wondering how the subjects in radio interviews sound so darn coherent, I\u2019ll let you in on a secret: it\u2019s because folk like Rick Kleffel exist, and are\u00a0<em>really good<\/em>\u00a0at what they do. He managed to take 50 minutes of my hemming, hawing, and headscratching, and cut it down to 35 minutes wherin I actually sound like I can think on my feet REALLY FAST.<\/p>\n<p>(In the interview, I mention a piece of \u201cnerd humor\u201d that I thought I\u2019d already put up here, but hadn\u2019t. It\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/stephan-zielinski.com\/static\/sysad.txt\">UNIX System Administrators\u2014A Field Guide<\/a>\u00a0. I also vectored the falsehood that the story that gave us the term \u201cMary Sue\u201d was written in cold blood. In reality, Paula Smith\u2019s story\u00a0<em>A Trekkie\u2019s Tale<\/em>\u00a0was itself a lampoon of prior tales exhibiting the flaw in question.
